The most attention I paid to him was his childish, huffing eagerness to get 5000 of us killed in Iraq, thinking that the war would be fast (think he guessed 3 weeks) after which we'd build a desert Nirvana in a year.

He may have been smart as a whip, but he was totally foolish about how the real world worked.
